She shows us through her own words and story as well as well placed quotes the path to Awakening; how we can get there, and how it might look and feel to those of us going through it. From her own "Dark Night of the Soul" through her current space - this story/how to manual really spoke to me. I must have highlighted at least 50 jewels of wisdom throughout. It is not a "quick" read, it is to be savored slowly (hopefully accompanied with lots of aha moments :). Thanks for sharing with us Lynn - this is definitely on my Faves list!!Product details

I just finished Awakening To The Wisdom Of Your Soul. I really enjoyed this book. I feel like this book was placed in front of me for a reason. Maybe it was my Souls way of saying "wake up".

If you're in the midst of transition and/or a challenging time in your life, Lynn's words will comfort you and ultimately inspire you to move forward and reconnect with your higher self. Everyone goes through times in their life where they wonder what the heck is going on. Lynn Ahearn, through her own experience and training has managed to provide comfort and an explanation of those times when we just have to question everything. This book is like a good friend that puts their arm around you, hands you a cup of tea and lets you know that everything will be all right, that you are cared for. I liked that the book has lots of thought provoking quotes and provides reasons for what happens to us in our lives. Even if you are not going through a difficult time, it helps you make sense of what is going on with your friends and family and the world in general.
As I began reading Lynn's book, it captivated me so much that I did not want to finish it! "Awakening to the Wisdom of Your Soul" is an intelligent and practical resource that reminded me of the importance of "doing the work" to process and effect lasting change. Lynn is an experienced and remarkable change-agent, and her humility continued to shine. She used her experiences from her `Dark Night of the Soul' to reinforce the understanding that our soul often has a deeper process that it uses to teach us necessary and perhaps overlooked truths about ourselves.
Lynn weaved many inspirational quotes from others to emphasize certain points like Byron Katie's, "I have had the privilege of losing everything," to this one from the Course in Miracles, "One day you will realize that death is not the punishment, but the reward." As Lynn reminded us, "When we finally do let go of those things that are the most difficult to let go of, we find that they were often blocking the doorways to our greatest gifts and blessings."
Lynn's book is an enchanting journey into the various ways our soul seeks to encourage us to choose the path of MOST resistance, and often the one with the greatest initial pain. Why you ask? Because this often holds the greatest meaning for our lives. I recommend this book to you if you truly seek to live a life of significance, one that is lived in response to the guidance from your soul's highest desire for inspiration and perfection.
