"Retribution" will take the reader into the grind work of tracking a serial killer. John Shembra's writing style will hold your interest and accelerates in the late chapters to a point where the reader cannot put the book down. I thoroughly enjoyed John's first book titled "M.P." and found this work an excellent read written in a captivating manner. Good job John.
Vince Torelli moves on from the jungles of Viet Nam to the jungles of San Francisco!! Det. Torelli has his hands full. Retribution is a book that kept me on the edge of my seat. Just when you think you have it figued out it goes into another direction. John Schembra did it again as he did in the first book, MP, keeps you wanting more!!! Awesome!!! Can't wait for book #3 to come out in print. I hope John has many more books in him.
This was one of the best books I have read in a while...recommend it for those who like police murder mysteries...can't wait for a follow up.

Once I started reading the book I found it hard to stop and come back to it. I usually read late at night and found I was staying up later than usual because I would want to see what happens next. Well written and easy to read. Definitely keeps your attention.
